Pilot / production tangential flow filtration system - M2

The M2 series include tangential flow filtration (TFF) equipment models for the development and scale-up of industrial clarification, concentration, diafiltration and extraction downstream processes and their integration into industrial-scale production activities in the biotech industry.

At the pilot scale, the M2 system allows the scale-up experts to perform a deep study of the TFF potential and the feasibility of the bioprocess industrial scalability, in terms of:

• Selection of most appropriate membrane technology and pore size
• Operational conditions, yields and flows
• Validation of product quality

In the production arenas, its design (e.g. integration of a range of membrane types, lengths, surface areas) allows the use of M2 for production batches for a variety of applications, regulatory environments and production volumes.

The M2 can be built and qualified under GMP guidelines, including GAMP 5 compliant automation.
